Design and build an integrated website for Automated Legal Document Generation and delivery for a Law Firm.

I. Challenge
MyOps was tasked with an initiative by a relatively small legal firm to develop an original digital platform from scratch to automate legal document generation, payment and delivery, integrating with existing legal services due to increased client demand.

II. Introduction
Opportunity: The organisation aimed to unify its digital ecosystem, but market research revealed a mismatch between current available capabilities and project complexity. This was before OpenAI.
My role was to Research and Develop a Scope of Work and then project manage from development to delivery.

III. Challenges Before Integration
This idea had been in the works for nearly a decade and a detailed design including specific inclusions was difficult to ascertain. This took some time and needed massaging in order to quantify a Scope of Work for quatation purposes.
Several software development companies were sourced across Australia and approached for detailed quotes.
Clients decided to pivot to in-house development for quality, alignment with existing goals and long-term adaptability to the changing environment. All quotes were not accepted after negotiation and revisiting “must-have” versus “nice-to-have” requirements.

IV. The Solution
The client prioritised integration, optimised payment processing, automated document delivery and enhanced user experience, creating a tailored platform.
Designs were approved, a budget was set and 4 software developers were approached.

V. Implementation Process
The in-house IT team were instead engaged to complete the project internally without third party exposure. This was managed internally.

VI. Results
The new platform would have unified, secured and improved user experience, reducing manual workload, improving client satisfaction, strengthening data security and increasing internal control.
Unfortunately all quotes and tenders were considered too expensive and did not meet the clients high expectations and low budget.

VII. Conclusion
Shifting to in-house development overcame technical roadblocks and established a scalable foundation for future digital growth. After detailed design and market research clients believed they would be better off completing the development in house.
